Beauty fans, get excited. Victoria Beckham Beauty has arrived at Selfridges, bringing with it a collection of cult favourites, including viral eye liners, grown-up (plastic-free) glitter and Victoria’s perfect Posh Lipstick. Plus, three brand-new, exclusive-to-Selfridges fragrances.

These new scents were inspired by special moments and memories from Victoria’s life. Here, we share these stories, the make-up MVPs you need to know, and how to get her signature smoky eye.

In the early days of developing her beauty line, Victoria believed there were some key products missing from her make-up bag. She soon rectified that, with a carefully edited line-up that looked elegant, were high performers and didn’t require a degree in make-up to use.

Bestsellers include the ultra-creamy Posh Lipstick, the Lip Definer and Satin Kajal Liner: a soft kohl that delvers impactful colour and blends to create an easy smoky eye. The Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser has been formulated with skincare expert Augustinus Bader to bring out the skin’s natural radiance and is the perfect primer for foundation. Her Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Sticks give a beautiful soft-focus colour to cheeks, and Lid Lustre is an amazing pressed-powder glitter that can be packed on the lids with fingers to instantly amp things up.

Get Victoria’s signature smoky eye

Over the years, Victoria’s style has certainly evolved (shout-out to her 90s Spice Girls bob, skinny brows and brown-lip-liner era), but if you think of her look over the past decade, you’ll probably picture loose waves, a smoky eye and nude lips. Here, she shares how to get that signature look.

A new fragrance collection

For her first foray into fragrance, Victoria partnered with Master Perfumer Jérôme Epinette to create three scents inspired by significant moments in her life.

My fragrance collection has been eight years in the making; it’s my most personal project to date. These fragrances are my scent autobiography. Each one is inspired by moments of my life and my relationship with David. They each take me back to a feeling, an emotion. I think that is the magic of fragrance.

Portofino ’97 encapsulates the euphoria of a new (in this case, secret) romance. The scent was inspired by a trip to the Italian Riviera that Victoria and David shared: picture salty crisp sea air, tangy citrus, fiery black pepper and warming amber. It’s invigorating and keeps you coming back for more.

Cut to 2004, when David whisked Victoria to Paris for a special honeymoon after renewing their vows. Amid the paparazzi, they found sanctuary in their hotel: Suite 302. This lavish scent blends velvety rose, slick black cherry and rich leather alongside smoky tobacco and warm spices.

Then we land in Los Angeles, 2007, where Victoria embarks on a restorative and transformative time in her life. San Ysidro Drive combines dewy rose and fresh peonies, wafting through a car window on the Pacific Coast Highway, followed by incense, wood and vanilla pod to conjure up the candles she used to burn at home.

We asked Victoria to pick just one from the collection. “That would be like choosing a child!” Victoria says. “Truly, all the scents mark such different moments in my life and our love story. If I had to pick one, perhaps Portofino ’97, which marks such a special moment in our early relationship and reminds me of such a carefree time.”
