Fine jewellery updates

 Words: Nana Baah

This season’s accessories were made for wearing again and again; think high-quality gold or silver pieces with a modern twist. From chunky bracelets to diamond rings – read on for our round-up of the jewellery styles to invest in.

1. Chain reaction

Tiffany & Co. Tiffany HardWear link 18ct yellow-gold bracelet, £6600

Tiffany revisited its archive for this 18-carat yellow gold link bracelet, which nods to their much-loved ‘ball and chain’ style from the 1970s. Just about quiet (luxury) enough for everyday wear, layer with other gold pieces or leave it to shine on its own.

2. Snake-crossed lovers

Boucheron Serpent Bohème Toi et Moi 18ct white-gold and diamond ring, £9900

A timeless shape, the Toi et Moi ring features two stones side by side to represent the bond between two lovers. Here, it gets a Boucheron makeover using two of their iconic serpents to create a truly statement piece.

3. Bee mine

Chaumet Bee My Love 18ct white-gold and diamond ring, £3440

Inspired by the bees that adorned French emperor Napoleon’s clothes, Chaumet’s ring mimics the shape of a honeycomb. Simple and timeless, each hexagon is crafted from 18-carat white gold and adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds.

4. Seeing double

Repossi Antifer 18ct rose-gold and diamond single hoop earring, £3020

For the Antifer earring, Repossi takes cue from the natural arches and angles found in the cliff formations of Étretat in France, to form two geometric hoops welded together and adorned with diamonds. The result? An elevated architectural piece for your everyday rotation.

5. Link up

Lauren Rubinski Large Link 14ct yellow-gold necklace, £6410

It’s not just bags that have been supersized for SS24, jewellery designers got the memo too. Lauren Rubinski’s oversized necklace is proof of that with its chunky interlocked links. It might be free from the fussy details of last season but will still ensure that all eyes are on you.

6. Ride the wave

Mateo Wave 14ct yellow-gold and diamond earrings, £990

Everyone needs a pair of gold hoops they can rely on and these wave-shaped ones from Mateo are sure to fill that role. Why we love them? They're triple threat. A cool, curvaceous design, ear-lobe hugging shape, and they’re finished with a row of glistening diamonds.

7. Tell me about it, stud

Suzanne Kalan Eva 18ct yellow-gold, baguette and round diamond stud earrings, £890

With a fun take on the classic pair of diamond studs, Suzanne Kalan encourages us to embrace chaos with these stacked baguette and round diamonds earrings. Want glitz with a cool-girl twist? You’ll reach for these season after season.

8. Hot rocks

Delfina Delettrez Dots 18ct white-gold and diamond ring, £3970

Fusing timeless diamonds with ultra-modern design, the Delfina Delettrez Dots ring is sure to delight every sparkle-lover. Understated yet futuristic, each one of it’s eight stones are set in a phantom claw creating the illusion they are floating delicately on the finger.

9. Gold standard

Melissa Kaye Cristina medium 18ct yellow-gold and brilliant-cut diamond earrings, £3445

Melissa Kaye’s gold earrings are lined with pavé-set diamonds on the inside of each hoop, so will elegantly catch the light when you move. They’re the perfect way to amp up and otherwise pared-back outfit.

10. Pearl of wisdom

Yoko London Sleek 18ct white gold, diamond and pearl earrings, £2500

Set with rare Japansese akoya pearls and diamond-covered spikes, these hoops are a cut above the rest. Turn to these for a stand-out partywear piece, or to add some extra sparkle to your winter wardrobe.
